Currently OSS operates as a Rule 14 school in the State of Nebraska. This allows us to operate as a recognized school and award a high school diploma.
As a private school, OSS is partially funded by student tuition. We want students to understand that an education has value, but at the same time, no student will be turned away due to financial hardship. A Sliding Tuition Scale is available.
HOW TO ENROLL: Step-by-Step Explanation of Admissions Process
In order for a student to be enrolled at OSS they must complete the following 4 steps:
COMPLETE APPLICATION PAPERWORK: To start the application process for your student to potentially attend Omaha Street School, please fill out the Release of Information and Student Application above.
COMPLETE AN INTERVIEW: Once the Release of Information and Student Application forms are filled out and submitted, our Office Administrator/Registrar will reach out to you to schedule and complete an interview.
COMPLETE ENROLLMENT PAPERWORK: After your student’s interview, our application team will review his/her transcripts. If your student is accepted, our Office Administrator/Registrar will call you to set up a time for you to come in with your student to complete the enrollment paperwork.
COMPLETE PAYMENT: At the time of your student’s enrollment meeting, a $55 registration fee will be due. This fee must be paid prior to student beginning classes.
